The Melbourne District Veteran Golfers Association Inc. was founded in 1983 and is affiliated with The Victorian Veteran Golfers Association Inc. which is in turn affiliated with the Australian Veteran Golfers Union, embracing veteran golfers thoughout Australia .
Our aim is to foster good fellowship through a common golfing interest embraced by our membership.
Once you are aged 55 or over, a male amateur golfer with an Australian Handicap, and a financial member of an affiliated VGA / VGL golf club, you are eligible to join the “Vets”. Nominate through your club Liaison Officer or contact the Membership Secretary (or Download a Member Application form here). There is a initial fee of $100. This covers joining fee ($70), name badge plus the annual subscription ($30) – The annual subscription is currently set at $30 and is payable on the 30th November each year.
The golfing season commences in February, mostly on Mondays with some Tuesdays, through to mid December.
