The morning was fine and sunny conditions. The course was presented in immaculate condition, lush fairways and the greens were very true.

The short 100m temporary 19th hole was in play and situated behind the 18th green and runs to the right of the big lake and to the left of the 10th – this proved to be a good test.

A special welcome to new members Barry Cooke from Settlers Run, Craig Irvin from Box Hill and Mike Williams from Victoria playing their first game with us today. We also welcomed member guests Alwyn Abraham from Brighton, Peter Bimbi from Brighton, David Heraud from Brighton, Barry Tunnicliffe from Waterford Villages, Stan Walker from Yarra Valley Country Club and Pancho Deneffe from Kew.
