Presidents Invitational at Northern Golf Club, 19th January 2026 only a few spots left

As we are fast approaching the Xmas/New Year break, I need move on finalizing our 40 participants for the annual President’s Invitational Challenge against the Hume Vets Association at the Northern Golf Club on 19th January.

The Challenge has been run every year since 2010 (except COVID in 2021) with Melbourne Vets runaway champions for 11 of those years. Naturally we want to keep up our “unblemished” record and so I am looking for 50 players, with the last 10 bookings to form a reserve for the inevitable withdrawals as we get closer to the event. 40 members will be divided into 20 teams and play 4BBB against 20 teams from the Hume Vets.

If you are interested, please book directly into the event which has been loaded onto our One Golf Booking system. If you would like to book a team please do so. The 40 places will be decided on a first come first serve basis. Once we have 40 players, I will then create the teams. This event is not open to visitors.

As it is a shotgun start, each team will be allocated a Tee Box on the day

– Date: 19th January 2026

– Time: Registration by 7.30am for 8.00am tee off.

– Cost: $70 includes green fees and lunch.

– Cost: $20 for a local member

– Payment will be by EFT. No cash please

· Event: 4BBB Stableford

– Players: 20 pairs from each district

– Scoring: MiScore. Club: MDVGA

– Hume Vets teams will be pre- loaded into the MDVGA Competition and paired with a MDVGA team
