There are 2 options:
- Cancelling before the Booking Sheet has closed OR After the Booking Sheet has closed.
Booking Sheet – Closing Time
Normally the booking sheets closes at 5pm on the day prior to the event,
Normal Cancellations – When the Booking Sheet is open, simply go in the booking sheet and delete your booking. The deletion requires a confirmation of the deletion.
Cancelling after the Booking Sheet has Closed
All cancellations after close are to be advised by phone to either the Secretary, Cec Bailey on 0412 595 954 and/or the Captain, Don Hackett on 0418 105 521. If neither answer please leave a message.
o Note: The booking sheet will be changed to reflect the revised policy
We require to know of cancellations ASAP. Do not rely on your mate telling us when he arrives as you may still be considered a “No Show” (We have many instances of the mate not remembering until near tee off time).
No Shows – Members who have pre booked and don’t show up on the day may be asked for an explanation. Members who book for other Members will be responsible for those Members to show up on the day.
Late arrivals – As noted above if you are not in attendance at the completion of check in queue after final registration time, you are considered to be a “No Show”.
If you are stuck in traffic or any other matter likely to cause you to be late (after the nominated check in time), please email to webmaster@mdvetgolf.org. If you arrive after the tee off you will not be allowed to play in the day’s event.
